The Santos 100 marked a century of the first pilot's wristwatch by scaling the case up, and the flying tourbillon version puts a Poinçon de Genève movement inside it. The tourbillon carriage is shaped as Cartier's letter C.

Fun fact: A flying tourbillon has no upper bridge, so the cage appears to float, and Cartier shapes the cage into a C that reads as its own signature once a minute. The calibre carries the Geneva Seal, which sets standards for finishing as well as accuracy.
