The Santos-Dumont is the flatter, quieter Santos, and in black coated titanium with a skeletonised calibre it becomes the lightest and the darkest way to wear the shape. Roman numerals form the bridges, so the dial and the movement are one part.
This Cartier Santos-Dumont Skeleton wears a 31.4 x 43.5mm ADLC coated titanium case with a skeleton dial. Manual winding 9619 MC inside.
Fun fact: Titanium is around 40 percent lighter than steel and does not react with skin, but it work hardens as it is machined, so Cartier cuts these cases slowly and replaces tools far more often than it does for gold.
