Calatrava (Salmon)

The Calatrava name goes back to 1932 and reference 96, the plain round dress watch that defined Patek's idea of restraint. The 6196P returns to those proportions: a 38mm case, a small seconds and nothing else.

This Calatrava wears a 38mm platinum case with a salmon dial and small seconds at six. The hand-wound calibre 215 PS inside, on a brown alligator strap.

Fun fact: the Calatrava cross, Patek's emblem, comes from a 12th-century Spanish order of knights and was registered by the company in 1887.
