Nautilus (Chocolate Brown Dial)
Ref. 5711/1R
$230,100 · AED 845,000
Message on WhatsAppThe Nautilus arrived in 1976 to a Gerald Genta design, an unusual move for a house then known almost entirely for dress watches. The 5711 became the reference version of that shape from 2006, and this was the first time the 40mm three-hand model came in solid rose gold on a matching gold bracelet.
This Patek Philippe Nautilus wears a 40mm 18k rose gold case with a brown gradated dial in the horizontal Nautilus relief. Calibre 324 S C inside, on an 18k rose gold bracelet.
Fun fact: the brown dial is not flat paint. It is stamped with the Nautilus relief and shades from light brown at the centre to near black at the rim, so the same watch photographs as chocolate, bronze or almost black depending on the angle.
