The Royal Oak Offshore Diver arrived in 2010 with a rotating inner bezel set by a second crown. The 15720 updated it in 2021 with the new calibre 4308 and AP's quick-change strap system.

This Offshore Diver wears a 42mm stainless steel case with a black Méga Tapisserie dial and a turquoise-accented inner bezel. Calibre 4308 inside, on a matching turquoise rubber strap.

Fun fact: the diver's inner bezel is turned with the crown at ten o'clock, which keeps it safe from knocks that could shift an external bezel.

The Royal Oak turned up loud, built for wrists wanting presence

The Offshore arrived in 1993, designed by Emmanuel Gueit on a brief to make the Royal Oak bigger and sportier for a younger buyer. The case is thicker, a rubber gasket sits exposed between bezel and case, the dial carries the bigger Méga Tapisserie pattern, and the crown and pushers are usually rubber or ceramic clad. Chronographs dominate the collection, and case materials run from steel, titanium and ceramic to forged carbon, gold and platinum.
